Israel's Privacy Protection Authority published a draft opinion for regulations allowing for data transfers to other jurisdictions. The draft changes would allow the PPA to compel owners of databases in countries that do not have data adequacy agreements with Israel to make "required changes" in order for personal data to be transferred to such jurisdictions under contractual agreements. TikTok revised its advertising standards to limit the ability of advertisers to target users ages 13-17, MediaPost reports. TikTok will still allow companies to reach underage users through broad advertising practices, however, users will have the ability to stop sharing data used for advertising with TikTok. Full story
