Google introduces AI chatbot geared toward child-age users

Google plans to release a version of its Gemini AI chatbot for children under age 13, The New York Times reports. The chatbot will be only available for child users whose parents manage their Google account through the Family Link feature, which requires the parents to submit the child's name and birthdate.
