Netherlands' DPA survey finds companies unprepared with algorithms that process PI

A survey by the Netherlands' data protection authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, showed most respondents are unprepared to use algorithms that process personal data. The survey of 1,600 Dutch companies found a majority of companies were unsure if they currently use algorithms that process personal data. Those that were aware often did not know what type of algorithm it was.

NLRB whistleblower alleges DOGE extracted sensitive agency data

According to a whistleblower disclosure from a U.S. National Labor Relations Board employee made to Congress and other federal authorities, the Department of Government Efficiency was allegedly granted access to sensitive agency data, NPR reports. DOGE engineers reportedly extracted large quantities of labor-related data and asked that their activities not be logged in the NLRB's management system.
