Australian police said the hacker who stole data from 10 million Optus’ cellular customers concealed their “identity, actions and whereabouts,” The Washington Post reports. Government officials attributed the hack to “lax cybersecurity at Optus,” which is the nation’s second-largest telecommunications provider.
