Prepare for Alabama’s Consumer Privacy Law.
The Alabama Personal Data Protection Act (“APDPA”) establishes consumer privacy rights and compliance requirements for covered businesses involving personal data, consumer rights requests, privacy notices, targeted advertising, data sales, sensitive data, data minimization, security, and other privacy practices.
The APDPA was enacted in 2026 and takes effect May 1, 2027, giving organizations an implementation period to determine whether the law applies and prepare for its requirements.
CLIClaw‘s Alabama Privacy Compliance Solutions help organizations understand the APDPA, evaluate potential applicability, identify compliance gaps, and prepare appropriate privacy processes and documentation before the law takes effect.
